Some of the best trips happen with a group. The friends who fly in from four different cities. The family reunion that takes a year to coordinate. The bachelorette weekend with nine people and eleven opinions. Group trips are the best.
Planning them is a different story. There's always one person stuck doing it all: chasing everyone for dates, digging back through 400 messages to find the Airbnb link, doing the math on who owes who. It's a lot. And it tends to fall on the same person every time.
I know the feeling, because I'm usually that person.
So PlanAwesome started as a simple (and slightly selfish) idea: build the tool I always wished existed. One place where the whole group can pitch in, so planning the trip feels less like a second job and more like part of the trip.
This isn't a product built by a giant company trying to sell you flights and insurance at every turn. It's an independent project, made by someone who actually goes on these trips and got tired of the alternatives feeling cold, cluttered, or built to squeeze you.
A few things I care about:
If you've ever been the one holding the group chat together, this was made for you. And if you've somehow never planned a trip in your life, here's your chance to surprise everyone.
Grab your people, pick a place, go.
Have questions, feedback, or just want to say hi? I'd love to hear from you.
